L’Union Européenne, l’Allemagne, la Suisse, le Japon, la France, l’Australie, la République Tchèque, les Etats-Unis d’Amérique, le Royaume Uni, le Mexique, l’Irlande, et toutes les Organisations Non Gouvernementales ont soutenu le Rapport biannuel de Mme Rhona Smith. Ils ont condamné les violations des Droits de l’Homme au Cambodge.

Government taken to task at UN meet
During the session, Special Rapporteur Rhona Smith said that civil society and the opposition faced severe threats.
“Restrictions of the democratic space and undermining of democratic institutions have reached an unprecedented level in Cambodia’s post-1993 history,” she said. “The country seems to be moving inexorably towards a precipice.”
